Sunbeam Lair don’t go to prom with your mom

Kaori wiggled in an attempt to bury herself as much as she possibly could in her mother's fur. It had been so warm before but she still found that she slept better with a source of heat nearby. She'd fall into a pleasant dreamless sleep, her mind relaxing from the day's curiosities of figuring out how the world around her worked. It was nice. She preferred it to dreams. Dreams easily became other things that just didn't make any sense to her...then again, not much did. They just seemed too unnatural for her liking.
