His emotions shifted quickly. As Lucy pressed forward to reach her muzzle to his, Rannoch felt his heart race and a faint blush flare under his pale cheeks. He wasn’t quite sure just what this feeling was that he was experiencing but he liked it. He wanted to stay here, in the glen, with Lucy like this forever. He closed his eyes as he took it all in.

He only opened his eyes when Lucy spoke and as she did he looked down to him with a smirk. “I know, right?” He countered, his voice comical despite the subject matter. “But, it’s worth it. I needed to see you.” He wasn’t quite sure how he had so easily slipped under the radar but he didn’t question his luck.
