With every passing day, Kaori felt more and more inclined to explore the world beyond their doorstep. Even from being outside of the den, the child could already tell that there was much to be discovered out there. She could not completely wrap her mind around just how vast the world was and instead of thinking about the big picture, she focused on what she could find at her level.
Like her sister, one of her favorite things were leaves. She loved their colors, the way they crinkled under paw-- they were just so lovely. But, most of all, she loved watching them dance in the wind. This was what she was currently doing, lying just beyond the mouth of the den, while she watched some nearby leaves rise and fall with the rolling winds.
