When a creature almost as large as itself came into view, the hunger seemed to abate long enough to Rinn to doubt herself. It was a wolf that she'd tracked down, and not a mindless prey animal. She'd never hunted something that ate the same meats that she did - something about it seemed wrong. Perverse. Little did she know, the same hunger she resisted now would soon cause her to tear into another.

For now, though, Rinn was unaware. Jupiter eyes zeroed in on the pale wolf, and the cat knew already that she was in no state to fight off the healthier creature, let alone make a meal out of her.

Hoping she'd not been seen, Rinn began to creep away from the scene, searching too desparately for suitble prey to worry too much about being discrete. Soon enough, she'd forgotten there was something out there she was trying to avoid.
