And so it came to no-one's surprise, other than Sorrel's, when she toppled over backwards and landed with a light thwack on her rump. "Soowwelllll?" she bleated before slowly regaining her footing and hearing the summons.

Kieran's clamorous cries were enough to bring her attention back to the fuzzy white mountain that was her mother, and her father's soft nudge sent her tottering back in that direction where she promptly decided that her brother's flank would make a good couch. There was a new smell in the air however, which really caught the girl's interest, but just this once Sorrel was willing to wait for the investigation to come to her.
