To expose his underside as he had might not have been the smartest of moves, but the pros outweighed the cons. His plans went smoothly as he felt himself land on the other, the only bump in the road being the bite to his underbelly. Through gritted teeth, the yearling growled, but otherwise ignored the searing pain in favour of putting as much of his weight on his brother as he could. He wanted to shove the other to the ground, to make him submit so that he might then realize the mistake made by not giving an answer when ordered to speak.

Should he succeed in forcing the other boy to the ground, Xan would linger over him with bared teeth. Again, he asked, “What is your name?” and expected an immediate answer. Though, at that point, he felt as if he might already have the answer.
