Her mother's words were somewhat of a comfort, soothing Lyra's self-concious panic that threatened to bubble over. She spoke sense, explaining her own coat colour and Charon's eyes which were both mimicked perfectly by the triplets. Again, this led Lyra to wonder why Korei had hints of cream in her fur and golden eyes. Of course, the truth was darker than genetic fuckery and was something she would probably never actually find out about.

A tiny smile wound its way onto her lips as Amekaze spoke further, feeling a minuscule amount of pride for she and her sister's...uniqueness. Perhaps it wasn't such a bad thing, being weird? It definitely had its advantages sometimes. Still, she pondered over it, and no doubt would discuss it with Hydra and Alya. If they cared at all.

"Thanks, mama," Lyra said quietly after a moment, looking back up to Amekaze and brushing her muzzle through her mother's thick fur. Her attention turned back to the creek beside them and, in an attempt to distract herself, the girl stepped past Ame and peered into the gurgling waters. "Are there fish in there?" she asked casually as she could.
