Northstar Vale two ghosts

Rannoch observed silently as the raven-haired woman advanced, his face uncharacteristically expressionless as he watched. Once she had settled, with both a lowered posture and lifted eyes, the Alpha sat a little taller as he looked to his subordinate. He did not hesitate in starting their conversation, and as he began to speak, he bore his eyes into hers and growled; a silent warning to tell her to stand down.

"I don't think I need to waste time with discussing why we are here," he began once his growling subsided, cutting straight to the point, "And before I speak to it, I want you to explain the situation from your perspective." He fell silent then, giving the child the floor in an attempt to better understand the situation from her point of view.
