Liffey had done her best to visit Gannet often. He was healing steadily, though not quickly enough for her comfort. She enjoyed having her friend near, but each day that passed made her more and more anxious. She could not shake the feeling that he was in danger here, no matter the fact that no one had made a move to harm him since bringing him into the territory. She knew herself well enough to know that she wouldn't feel comfortable until he was safely back at the Caldera, but that was still some ways off. So, she contented herself to drop by at every opportunity if only to keep an eye out for trouble.

The half-eaten rabbit she carried in her jaws couldn't really be considered fresh. She'd caught it and buried it a few days before, but the icy ground had kept it in decent condition. Holding it actually was making her a little hungry, but this particular meal was reserved for the young male she was excited to see up and moving around. Her tail wagged as she approached and tossed the rabbit over to him. "Look at you," Liffey commented with a smile, "You'll be ready to go mountain climbing with me again in no time."
