aware of her paranoia, relmyna nevertheless held steadfast — she rose on stiff legs and left the stone where it was, approaching the newcomer with a gait her previous self would not have employed, and as she stepped closer, the pale flag of her plume rose.
relmyna did not consider herself cruel, but the presence of this man caused the pressure of her temples to throb anew; she would drive him away with punishment for his misjudgement of her, and he would bear the brunt of all who had done the same since she had awoken.
