Rannoch nodded, finding Jarilo's acceptance endearing. Although the child was inexperienced, he felt as though Jarilo would fit right into the group. He would need to talk to Terance before confirming anything but, Rannoch was confident that his friend would agree to allow Jarilo to join in their daily routine.
Before Rannoch could speak further to his idea, he redirected his attention to the near-by pest. Although Jarilo's remark about their loud tendencies caused him to smile, he did not allow it to distract him. "They only come towards the border when they're incredibly stupid, or incredibly desperate," Rannoch answered as he stole a glance of Jarilo.
"But, let's continue along and see if we even run into it," he suggested as he kept his attention towards the neighboring territory. Although he was confident that it was not near them at that given moment, Rannoch wasn't sure if they'd run into it further down the road. He took a step forward and motioned towards Jarilo to follow so they could resume their guard.

a crime so old as the sky and bone
he came untied, solid as a stone
all is almost lost and it starts to show
he came untied, solid as a stone
all is almost lost and it starts to show
