The tail wag was just the signal Gannet was looking for. Instantly he smiled, and his stance lightened up a bit, not so concerned with avoiding agression. Since he had started moving, his encounters with most of the mountain had improved considerably. Some still met him with outright hostility or cold indifference (Lyra). But to most he was becoming known, happily.
"It's good practice," he responded, taking a seat lightly on the cold ground and looking at Dirge. "Why are you up?" He was curious what he had interrupted the other wolf while doing.
