As Dante entered the clearing, he caught her scent just as he heard someone crying softly. Well crap. Frowning, he padded slowly over to where he heard the sounds coming from, peering into the darkness of the den.

"Hey," he said softly, wondering what had upset her. "What's wrong?" He hoped she would come out and talk. He'd said that he would be there if she needed anything and was serious about that offer. If someone had done something to her, he'd at least look into making it right.
