Whitefish River the coyotes sing when they call on your lovin'.

Oh dear.

The rain had started the moment he was halfway to the borders. There was no point in marking them today, the rain would just wash it away. Once the rain had ended, he would make it his job to remark as many as he could. But for now, he could at least check the river. It was pouring and the river might threaten to overflow. And if it did, the waters would last a while before disappaiting. It might block hunting for a while.

The dark-furred Gamma crossed the borders into unclaimed territory towards the Whitefish River, treading carefully. Already the ground close to the river squelched. Yep, there would be flooding.

He finally reached the river, but stayed a safe distance away from it. He stood on the edge of the stony bank, observing the river. It was surging strongly, more powerful than it usually was. When he turned his head to see the looks of the river from its source, he saw another creature loping by the bank. Another wolf? A small one at that. "Looks to me like there might be flooding." he called to the wolf, starting a polite conversation.
