At the mention of Grayday, her ears twitch and head tilts slightly to one side. It takes a few seconds to recollect but by then they’ve moved on. Aviana steps up and she sucks in a gust of air, forgetting everything they’d been talking about until that point. 

Furi swallows thickly as Aviana gets closer and reaches  over to smell her. She’s inclined to lean in but doesn’t allow herself, uncertain. The ticking time bomb in her chest causes everything to tighten and she’s sure she’ll explode at any moment. When she steps back, Furi releases the heavy breath she’s forgotten about. ”You smell nice,” shakily she confesses, skin hot beneath her coat and she looks away from her face. ”It’s... it’s different.”
