Just a heads up - Kaskara was/is in the middle of IC joining, so SC is full again. :| I don't know if you want to reconsider which pack you join or wait until the activity check? Pretty much everyone is active or on absence. Bleh! D:

Bazi didn't trust Haunter.

They had met once before, months ago, when she was still a fresh-faced, grinning fool with a loose tail, and he was a veteran of the Creek. He had unsettled her then, with his eerie glare and peculiar demeanor, but Bazi she had looked past that in her eagerness to please. Things looked different from the top of the totem pole, and she was not so free with her smiles now.

Chance had her at Duck Lake when Red and Haunter's paths converged. She had (barely) slept outside Creek territory, watching the south and east with unblinking eyes. Tuwawi's children had sparked a protective instinct in Bazi, who spent less time scouting and more pacing the unofficial borders (given how far those extended, it may have been appropriate to call it 'scouting').

From a hiding spot in the same fringe of trees on the lake's western edge, she watched Haunter approach the red wolf. From a distance, some bore some resemblance to Fox, but Bazi didn't have a tumour to contend with. The wind was in her favour, and the white wolf hunkered down, waiting to see what her alpha's questionable choice of 'bunk-mate' would do.
