Heron Lake Plateau Lost some pieces I can't replace

"Positive."  His side was done... he didn't mind one bit sharing the company, so long as she wanted it.  If she changed her mind and decided she'd rather have the time to herself, that was fine.  But at least this way she'd know where to find him, if it came up.

"Picked a spot in earshot of Fin and the new kids, just in case.  Imagine I might move, though, depending on where Raven and Qui end up."  He might not have kids of his own, but that just meant he was available for if things went south, same as the rest of them.  He saw the usual spot and indicated it, a small group of trees nearby.  They were close enough together to give some semblance of security, but through the boughs the sky could be seen above.
