It was Hyacinth's voice that diverted Rannoch from his thoughts; although initially startled by her sudden appearance, he quickly pulled himself together. "Hyacinth," he greeted weakly, and turned towards her with a smile. "I'm surprised to see you out and about at this hour," he commented.
