He had been allowed into the sea pack with his brother and while he was happy to be back by the sea with his last remaining family member, he still yearned to convince Sockeye to leave with him and roam just the two of them. Another aid to the anxiety plagueing him was that only a few days after he'd joined, a massive fire burst on the mainland. The air became thick with smoke and ash and everyone seemed to suffer. He choked often and his throat was raw, but by now it was getting better. He was currently knee deep in the sea water, standing as still as a rock as he watched fish swim around him. He had a long leave in his mouth, tickling the surface of the water and drawing the fish closer and closer. As one curiously swam in close to him, he gingerly released the leaf and lunged, his jaws grabbing the fish behind the head tight. Quickly he carried it to the shore and dropped it, waiting till it suffocated before he picked it up and carried it inland.


He picked up traces of puppies and hesitated, looking panicked before he sighed and continued onward. He dropped the fish by the den, pushing it inside to leave for the mother of the puppies before he turned away intending to head off maybe for a swim.
