Blacktail Deer Plateau no one gets left behind

Dante growled as the feral stench of the cougar came over him. Fire blaze shouted to run but he ignored her... the creature was far too close to the heart of their territory and needed to be dealt with. They had pups to think of and Dante shuddered to think of one of them venturing out only to meet up with this creature.

"We have to make it leave, help me!" Dante urged, ruff standing on end and lips drawn back in a snarl. Slowly he approached the cat. If she joined his guess was that the cougar would go back where it came from in search of easier prey. If so they could follow and make sure it left. It hadn't decided yet, though, and he could see the wheels turning. A single wolf might be worth the chance of fighting, even one his size.
