She wasn't sure if Ibis understood or not, but it really didn't matter.  Seabreeze knew she'd be here for her children no matter what, unlike her blind, selfish ex-husband.  What mattered was that Ibis seemed to calm at the words (or the tone of the words) and buried herself into her mother's fur.  I love you to, little bird, more than you could ever know.
