Apparently her training with Artaax had paid off a bit, because Kiwi's reaction to Niamh's shift came pretty quickly.  She turned and jumped back, lowering her head defensively and showing her teeth.  Niamh didn't push though, instead giving her the go.

What was that he'd said? Keep your emotions hidden.  Don't show them where you want to attack.  That was way easier said than done.  She tried to keep her eyes on Niamh and not really show much, but definitely failed because she needed to see where she was going.  So halfway through her run she gave up, and the smaller girl went very clearly for Niamh's shoulder in a nip attempt.
