He seemed alright, friendly enough, though she couldn't read much about him aside from tone.  Slightly older than her maybe? Most were.

Close by.  I'm Kiwi. She didn't exactly smile, but was polite enough.  She didn't mind talking a bit because there was a bit of things she wanted to know too.  Does your pack come this way a lot?
