East paid little attention to anything going on around him, gaze trained dutifully on the commander. He no ill-feelings for anyone, but he preferred to fill his time and thoughts with useful things like how he could help make their move as easy and as safe as possible. Aside from a sudden flare of searing irritation at the mention of the sound, his expression remained impassive as Blixen spoke. He really didn't care where they actually moved to; scenery meant little to him. He was just ready to familiarize himself more with the territory so he could find all of its weaknesses and remedy them. 

When her speech was complete, she turned the spotlight on them, asking how they felt about her choosing the tangle. East responded with a silent nod, showing is acceptance of the plan, not having anything to add currently. Maybe later he would think of something when he had more time to process everything.
