He knew something was wrong. Well, obviously he did. Liffey typically was hard-pressed to ever take her eyes off of her mate, and now, of all times, she had chosen to blatantly look away. She sighed at her own stupidity and turned her head to look sheepishly up at him with her muzzle still dipped towards the ground.

"I'm fine..." she answered, uncertain of how exactly to broach this topic. She took in a breath and let it go in a whoosh, acknowledging that beating around the bush was useless. "I don't want to have sex where my parents could walk in on us," Liffey blurted, rather loudly.
