Firefly Ravine to suggest an ending is the one absurdity

“Suicide,” he retorted, sternly, the flesh of his brown wrinkling with dissatisfaction.  Well, this whippersnapper certainly had a very disagreeable mouth on him!  Still, having stumbled upon what could have been a very untimely demise of a youth, he felt compelled to assist him – some nagging, perhaps, sense of dutiful moral fiber that he had not yet asphyxiated in his days of inebriation and debauchery.  He is once again consumed by a sigh, a deep, resonating exhalation as regret already began to pervade the porosity of his bones – oh damn it all.  His gaze was a glower as it flittered among the afforded discombobulation of ledge and foothold below, a steeled look of calculation capturing his visage as his mouth pursed with thoughtful consideration.  Slowly, gingerly he extended his foreleg, his toes splaying outward to even out the weight distribution, as he pressed (tested) the fortitude of a thinned branch of stone.  Its edges crumbled as it settled, evolving to buttress the body which now hesitantly followed – and he used this same procedure as he descended, slowly embarking his way toward the stoop on which the brash boy resided.  He stepped down onto the ledge, finally – his lean body astutely slinking downward as though a feline – before his hind legs followed, and he stood resolutely before the child.  He peered down at him, the hardened features of his face weathered by a hard life curling down in disapproval, a fang glinting alike the mercurial viscosity of his eyes.  “Up, you wee git,” he snorted, his muzzle sharply pointing to the plains in which they’d started – “back to your mother, where you belong.  A young boy like you shouldn’t seek danger.”
