"he a beast," came his parroting, for he had rather liked what norsamu had said about ford. did anyone consider him a beast? maybe one day he could dare to be that impressive. for now, he trudged alongside the pirate, sniffing the air for any nearby prey that was readily accessible. sort of like having food to cook versus having a microwave; velen wasn't really keen on hunting right now, so that meant any food not immediately at his disposal wasn't worth it, and he would just starve.
"what's rum?" he chirped with interest, turning to look at norsamu as they walked. she was fierce to look at, and again, he fell into ponderings of what he might be in a few years, the thoughts of a boy.
norsamu parted her jaws to tell him, and velen, like a child, fell into wide-eyed awe of the pirate, and the exploits that had taken her 'round the earth to discover the magickal drink.
