Blackfeather Woods want my friend, want my heart’s mend

Despite the lack of freshness that encircled the fallen kingdom, there still lied years behind their stories and it was evident in the former markings that lined the edge of the murky forest. They were bloodied yet stale as far as he could tell, bringing a bit of comfort to the man in hoping he would not fall victim like the poor fellows whose bones trailed the territory's invisible border. But that reassurance fled faster than he'd like to admit when the hazy figure emerged from the abyss behind her, her amethyst gaze glowing in comparison to void that enveloped her. 

Suspicious and just a tad bit interested in who it was he'd come across, Sanguinus paused while still a ways off, not yet crossing what would have been the fringe of their domain for he stopped just before it and took to observing the shadow girl as she teetered on the edge of her lost claim.
