The girl didn't hear the approach, despite his attempt not to startle her. At his voice her head snapped to him, standing abruptly. The man towered over her, earning him an inquisitive glare.
Not meanness, but she wondered what'd be like to be that tall.
She studied him, noting that he had one black eye -- she would've thought it missing if it were not for the glint there.
Finally, after what, a few moments of silence, the youth's tail wagged in greeting and his question registered, "I'm stargazing, the birds don't bother me much. I thought they were gulls yet they sound so unlike a normal one," her brow quirked as if expecting some revelation into her curiosity about them. Her head tilted, studying the dark form of the man; the long limbs holding his high above, the slenderness of his body yet he held himself like Cry.
Powerful, and he knew it.
The girl turned back to her stars, "Sit with me, we can share what we know," she grinned -- one of her special, first impression grins -- and turned to sit. Of course, the nieve girl didn't know, yet, not to turn her back on strangers. Especially dark characters -- but Phex was not one to judge of first looks.
Was Phex even a character to judge?
