Yet the girl stated that she too had been betrayed by those close to her and Lilah's eyes flashed with pain and empathy "Me too...you don't have to worry about me being a deserter" she said the words gently, unable to bring herself to confess undying loyalty but promising what she could, she would not abandon this place of darkness and the woman who ruled it even if she didn't make any friends.
