Hmm.  Colt looked him over skeptically as he mentioned seeing Clover again, but didn't comment on it.  He was a protective uncle, but not to the extent that he'd ruin whatever it was he assumed this was.  Not unless it was clear to him Clover was getting the short end of the stick.

It's good.  Kids make a pack stronger, after all. he said breezily, not wanting to dwell on that shit yet.  Sure he was disappointed, but life went on, and who knew what the future would bring?
