Rannoch stirred as sunshine began to trickle into their makeshift den. As he came to, Rannoch realized that he felt more exhausted than he had the night prior. The trip to visit their family had been strenuous both physically and mentally, and Rannoch focused most of his energy in keeping the family's spirits somewhat lifted—it was his duty as a husband and in-law.
Enjoying the momentary stillness, and taking a chance to himself, Rannoch kept his gaze focused outside. The sun was rising, causing a delightful spectrum of pastels to brighten the morning sky. Although he wanted @Liffey to experience the sunrise with him, he knew she needed rest, and kept to himself for now.
a crime so old as the sky and bone
he came untied, solid as a stone
all is almost lost and it starts to show
he came untied, solid as a stone
all is almost lost and it starts to show
