Hmm.  She couldn't tell yet if he was affiliated, but even so, there was no reason not to try.  She could at least see if he was worth it.

What left that? she asked, indicating the blood as she came closer.  She stopped within distance of easy seeing and speaking, but didn't try to encroach on his space.  She wasn't interested in a fight this far out from her mountain, and she was still hurt herself.
