Rannoch turned towards the sound of Aengus' voice with surprise—his son was the last wolf he'd expect to see on the borders. "Aengus?" Rannoch called back, moving towards the forest in an attempt to stray from the pack's boundaries. "Come here, my boy," he urged.
Although Rannoch did not like the thought of having his son on the borders, he was slightly more comfortable knowing that he would be there, too. Perhaps, Rannoch could teach him about the importance of the borders and how they work—if Aengus complied.
