"Yes, you did!" Rannoch exclaimed, praising Aengus with enthusiasm. "You're going to be a great hunter like Breccan and Deshyr," he added, leaning forward to nuzzle the top of his son's head. Hanging out with Aengus was like a breath of fresh air to Rannoch—it was nice to have one child who was excited to hang out with him.
When asked what he was doing, Rannoch smiled. "I'm making sure that we stay safe in our new home by marking the borders," he explained. "Basically, I pee all over the place to let them know that this land is ours." Really, there was no other way for Rannoch to describe the process.
"Wanna help your daddy out?" he asked then, realizing Aengus could be of use.
