He stopped when he heard someone call out to him, and immediately turned around. He didn't want to be stopped for too long, as he was afraid he would lose the trail they had set, but he wasn't the type to ignore a stranger.
Hello,he returned curiously, then waited. Gannet wasn't the best at conversation even on a good day, and it took conscious effort to remember to try. Right now his thoughts were mostly preoccupied, but his silence was definitely nothing but friendly.
