Heading to the borders, he was paying only minimal attention, to be honest.  At this point, the pack should be pretty obvious to strangers (right?) that they shouldn't be appearing past the borders (even if they still did in a few places).  So the only reason that he noticed her was because he suddenly veered off the path as a very fresh scent of deer drew his attention.  Then suddenly the gold youth was within his field of vision -- and she stood out pretty quickly against the springtime green.

His head whipped around to focus on the light colored blur and he paused.  Oh. That was uh.  Well.  She was one of the kids that Rannoch and Liffey dragged along.  He at least visually remembered her, but namewise?  Hopefully he'd remember but his braincells were trying to wander off elsewhere at the moment.  Oh hey.  Sorry, did you need something?  He wouldn't be surprised if she'd said something subtle to get his attention and he'd just totally zoned out.
