His brain sorted through the endless possibilities of how it didn't mean what Rye thought she meant. His face contorted into a mixture of confusion but joy, he nearly violently debted whether or not to directly ask. Eventually coming to the conclusion that seeking truth was better than staying in confusion, he got serious, his body stilled and his expression followed.
