Things were starting to fall together, she knew what she wanted to do. She wasn't going to join another pack, not unless it was the very last way she could give her family a good life. Instead she planned to start her own pack, nothing fancy, just basic guidelines and strict rules enforced without slack. Her mind had grown peaceful and content with just watching over her little group of loved ones.


And then Issun called.


Her eyes shot open and her breath caught in her throat, a low growl leaving her maw as she stood and hurried to meet him. She had expected to be able to stare him in the face and be cold but when she saw him her heart hammered, a sick feeling growing in her stomach. "Issun....wh-" her voice cracked and she looked away, blinking back the moistness in her eyes and clearing her throat "What do you want?" She finally managed to croak out, ears twitching as she looked behind her for any signs of her kids or the two people she loved.
