Maiira was actually quite surprised that the grumpy wolf even wished to converse at all. “Ah,” she said, chuckling. “Well, Maiira has… no idea,” she admitted, when asked what she wanted to talk about. “Perhaps this one could tell me of any nearby packs? So that she may avoid them, of course. Most wolves do not appreciate half-breeds, you see.” Another chuckle, this one much darker. Being chased away from pack lands was something Maiira was well acquainted with, something that had happened many times before. She looked so much like her coyote mother that most wolves did not even stop to check what she truly was before giving chase. Accordingly, Maiira was very good at running quickly.

She settled down, though still far enough away from the other so as not to seem threatening.
