I will starve or be killed. And this he said with utmost certainty, yet there was only the smallest glimmer of sadness in his gaze. More so he looked genuinely interested in the worry the wolf expressed towards him, all at once grateful and touch by it. A subtle smile graced the corners of the dog’s eyes, and he tilted his head at his acquaintance. This world is very hungry. He stated a moment after, deciding to elaborate somewhat, and by world he specifically meant the wilderness that surrounded him, There was a great bear who came and tore my God to pieces in a matter of minutes. Unaware that the wolf might not link God to the human which he'd been raised to define as such.

When I reflect I think about how she should have fled as I did. Yet my God was still and from afar in safety I heard silence until finally a terrible shriek and then nothing. He re-accounted the massacre of a camping trip when he'd been severed from the ties of his domestic life yet Kaworu did not seem to be swayed into emotion, only a simply retelling. I returned, I was loyal and I was frightened. But the nights were long and I grew hungry... when I succumbed to the hunger I fed from the scraps of my God's flesh and after I knew I could not stay there. But I also knew I too would meet the same fate.
