Two Rivers Isle why men great until they have to be great

She watched the metallic flank of her boy leave—his silver eyes flashing her way only once before he disappeared from view on his first scouting mission. Her lips pursed and the tension she felt in her heart fully revealed itself in the stark light of dusk—the ache that something might happen to her children. @Trench and @River came and went, each of them proving to be self-sufficient despite their youthful age, and the mother bear had tried to give them the space needed to find themselves. She expected nothing less than independence from the blood of Stigmata, and a breath escaped her, curling before her in the cold winter air like smoke.

Swinging her muzzle, the sylph studied the wooded land she had come upon. Inspection would be had, but thus far she remained impressed with the potential of laying claim here. Stigmata’s legacy was the mountains, in many aspects—but it also laid with her and her children, and the widow would need to finally move on.

This was a promising beginning to that new chapter.
