:D Hi! Also, Storm's been getting lucky finding only nice wolves so far lol. I can't imagine what a meeting between Jinx and her would be like, (if Jinx were still alive). Oh, and no need to match the length.
Stormfall let out a tremendous screech when the wolf appeared suddenly and pounced on the rabbit. She, like before with Adair, jumped ten feet in the air and six feet back. Being a cat, she did not like sudden movement, and that was exactly what this wolf had made: a sudden movement. She let out a hiss of irritation as she saw that it now had the rabbit dangling in its jaws. She'd been stalking it first, so by all rights it was hers in her mind. But no matter. There was no use arguing with the brute, who now looked at her and was lowering his mouth to the ground.
Without waiting to see what he was doing, she began to trot away, the hairs on her body all standing up, trying to make herself look bigger in case he decided to attack her, in which case she'd run or die. She was far smaller than she needed to be in order to properly defend against a wolf -- even a small wolf, and this one wasn't small, though he wasn't as big as her big brown friend, Adair (whose name she didn't actually know). She halted mid-trot, however, when she didn't feel any sign of pursuit, and turned to look over her shoulder with the deadpan bored expression most cats held on a regular basis. The wolf had dropped the rabbit on the ground and was stepping away from it, flicking his ears at her and looking at her like he expected something from her. Was he sharing food, too? Just like her friend had?
With a flat, "Meow," she slowly turned and began padding on delicate paws over to the rabbit -- and closer to the wolf. If this was a trap, she was walking right into it. But she was confident she could get away fast enough if it came to that. Cats were, after all, much more agile and quick than dogs.
