solaire had taken to traveling slightly further out of the den. before she remained only beside the entrance; now she would climb over the lump that formed the roof, sniffing among the grasses that grew up there. fower, she hummed to herself, delighted as she plucked a tiny daisy between her teeth, unsure of what it might be useful for and all the more curious because of her ignorance. she held it before letting it fall to the ground, watching it then as if it might do something.
