It seemed she was too fast for the bute, who was probably used to having his opponent be either too scared to fight, or ready to launch themselves into his waiting jaws.
Vanity, not so much.

Her gameplay was evasion until she found her opening to strike, and with his failed attempts to snag her, she found her opening.
As he went for her shoulder, she managed to sidestep out of his reach and dipped her head, making it seem like she'd snap up his leg.
One of her oldest tricks was not committing to a feint when it would be hard for her opponent to tell.

As he recoiled to protect himself, she pushed forwards, going for his flank, and ultimately headbutting him rather than biting, because she didn't want to accidentally latch on and have him rip himself open.

The dice is never this nice to me xD
