Yao had not been privy to the drama that had beset his pack, perhaps to his benefit. He was blissfully unaware of the mess that Mal had gotten himself into, worrying only about their coffers and their borders.

As he wandered through the woods, his mind set on taking a rest, he found himself distracted by a smell. The scent was familiar, something that he had smelled constantly throughout the pack's borders, but he had never put a face or name to it. He decided to follow it, knowing that this was someone that he needed to meet.

The wolf in question was sprawled out on the dirt near what looked like a den. There was something familiar about the wolf. Yao thought of the eldest pup of the pack, Caerus. The eyes were the same. Was this Cupid? The other...dad? Hallo, he greeted, his tail wagging.
