“We could use warriors, outriders and hunters, Cadfael,” The male in front of him reminded him briefly of the roman who would have made a statement like that but he sensed that they were mostly different. “Even more importantly, we could use a healer. Our previous one recently departed.” These packs here were weird, back in his old pack everyone knew how to heal because everyone knew how to fight. If they were stranded, they could heal themselves and fight at the same time but apparently things here were different.

The dragon prince raised his dark head to follow the gorgeous's agouti male's gaze towards the distance mountains. “I am Scimitar – the pack Beta. Bazi is your Alpha. Welcome to the Creek.” His gaze was unreadable as Scimitar trotted forward and nudged him gently on the cheek. He inhaled the Beta's scent before reluctantly withdrawing. “And stay clear of members from The Sunspire pack. We have an uneasy truce.”

"Yes, of course." he murmured softly as his midnight blue gaze briefly scanned over the Beta's attractive body and crouching down slightly to lick the underside of Scimitar's chin in submission.
