It would seem Scimitar had broken through some form of an exterior of the other male when his chin was licked – from the shadowy male’s original unwillingness to truly submit, it seemed, he had come around and offered more. Perhaps, the beta mused, he would actually earn the respect that would go along with it.
His rank at times felt foreign to him – but it likely stemmed from the simple fact that Swiftcurrent Creek was made up of many new faces now. The perfect opportunity for a fresh start for the pack. Nudging his newfound companion to the cheek, Scimitar’s tail swept through the air leisurely as he shifted away from the ebony male, casting a glance to him as he trailed further from the borders now and closer to Swiftcurrent Creek lands. “Did you want a tour, or do you want to explore things yourself?” He was not much of a tour guide so to speak, but somehow it felt incomplete to simply send the male on his way to flounce through pack lands he only just set paw on.
