Well, it was becoming quite apparent that Pheiros was not really the brightest, and he had little common sense, so he hadn't considered the fact that he might not find anything useful during the winter months. He had so many questions, and he was desperate to find the answers, but it was difficult to do that with no experienced healer around to guide him. Yeah, that makes sense, he answered, his heart sinking a little in his chest as he realized how dumb he must have sounded. But the stranger offered a small bit of information about moss. That had been the one thing he did know, but he he wouldn't admit that; he'd rather pretend the other boy had offered him something helpful than point that out. Oh, okay.
