"Sounds shitty" Wren ventured, grinning awkwardly and averting her eyes. Love, leadership and different opinions. She had risen to the rank of a beta in her pack through hard work and determination, never even wanting the title but having been given it regardless. She had loved her friends, loved her new family... and even tried to love one man. But he seemed forever out of her reach, every time they tried. Now she was faced with truly being alone.
